    Michael, do you know how long this tree was in the anderson flat? The root development is quite good for a collected tree. We are usually told to not prune and re-pot in the same season, but these healthy roots allow for it I suppose. Is this species especially vigorous?

      I think it was several years in the Anderson. That is correct, we usually should not do this all in one go and I hesitate to show these pictures, but then again I have a full deck here: Greenhouse, mild wet climate, strong tree. Yes, this is a very vigorous species. I do not recommend this kind of work for novices.
